Because the heart of the sons of men is full of evil and madness is in their heart

Sin is blood-shedding. This has been proved bu the fact that Gain murdered Abel his brother. This tragedy occured at the very beginning of the history of man. This showed what the world would be thereafter.

Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous. Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.(1John 3:12,13)

An unjust man {is} an abomination to the just: and {he that is} upright in the way {is} abomination to the wicked.(Pro 29:27)

The reason why Cain killed Abel was that his brother was better than he. Simply that and no other reason. Murder "without cause". Therefore it is natural that men try to destroy one another whenever their neighbors become better than themselves. The history of man hitherto proves this.

Futhermore, Men are absolutely under the control of the Devil that old serpent. Mere puppets in the controlling hands of Satan. No one is free from this iron-grasp of the Dragon.

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. (Rev.12:9)

But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. (2Cor.4:3)

Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. (John 12:31)

Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.(John 14:30)

And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine. (Luke 4:5,6)

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. (John 8:44)

To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. (Acts 26:18)

Here the intervening hand of God is needed. In Job we see this fact. "And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, he {is} in thine hand; but save his life."(Job 2:6)

Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. (Luke 12:6,7)

Foolish men complain that God handles their lives and so flatly deny the very existence of God Himself. They do not know that Satan is their master and they are his slaves in unseen chains. They are blind. The Devil has blinded them. What a tragedy.

Men try to destroy their neighbor as Cain did to his brother. They try in vain - in vain, because of the intervening hand of God. Fools complain of God's intervention though because they do not see owing to their blindness. Without the intervening hand of God they would have no opportunity of salvation, no opportunity to believe in Jesus christ the Savior. This intervention of God is vividly expressed through HOMORHYTHM.
