That Someone is God Who created you.
God is love and to love is to serve each other when the two are in love. God has proved His love toward you since He has made you - you are one of His creatures.
He says:
This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.
I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
John 6:50-57
In other words, He is our daily bread to eat and water to drink. Without eating and drinking we cannot live altogether. He Himself has become your daily bread and water to drink. There could be no other ideal service than this - daily food to eat. Do you HAVE Jesus Christ the Lord in you, in your heart?
"In your heart" means that you love Him with all your heart, mind and soul. Therefore you call Him "my Lord". Gid us for you and you should be for Him. This is love. God serves you in love through His people who recognize you as the temple of God where God is and so serve you as they would do to God. And you? Yes, you serve God by seving them in the name of your Lord Jesus Christ.
This is the principle of life in the kingdom of God. Oh, such fullness of life, abundant life! Out of this abundance of life and love you serve other around you in this world. if you don't have this abundance of life you cannot serve others in love , neither can be a disciple of Christ.
This is the day of salvation and if you postpone to reveive this Gift the day could never come, never, never.
Santa Rollahula reminds us of the life-truth that "Reaping for joy" signifies "shrieking in agony" behind the scene, and also that "shrieking in agony" implies "reaping for joy" . When you are grieved expect the day of joyfulness coming in turn, and as you are overjoyed think of the days of dark gloom which once were and might come soon.
It is like that sunset implies the glorious sunrise and sunrise signifies the sunset which is surely to come.
God's Greatest Gift for You
Think of it! God's Gift for
you!
A gift should be the best thing you have ever had in all your
life.
God so loved you that He gave
you His only Son and God the Son gave his life for you to save you and to
live with you forever. God's only Son is the Gift. He himself is the Gift.
A gift is to be with you forever for it is none other than yours provided
that you cherish it so.
If you reefuse Him to be your Gift then He cannot be the Gift for you because you do not want to have that Gift.
Did you ever think of a gift given to you by someone - say, a wonderful magician? And so the gift for you is none other than a wonderful servant who would be faithful to you even to death or a wonderful princess/prince so beautiful and loving and powerful that you will be happy every time when you are with her/him?
The Lord Jesus Christ is that Gift for you personally given to you. Yes, far more than that.
